Thermal Fluid Systems

Thermal fluid heating systems are a versatile type of indirect closed loop heating system that utilizes hot oil, water, water-glycol, or other synthetic mediums. We offer a variety of gas fired, oil fired, electric, and biomass-fired thermal fluid heaters and complete thermal fluid systems. A wide range of both pre-engineered and custom solutions are available.

Biomass Energy Systems

Biomass Energy Systems assist in the combustion of waste materials in an efficient manner, minimizing emissions and leveraging a range of fuels. Fuel feed, furnace, and ash conveyor systems are included.

Electric Process Heaters

Pre-engineered and custom electric process heater designs are available from 2 to 60 watts per square inch, and in capacities of 10 kW to 3MW or higher. Circulation heaters, control systems, and complete skid mounted process heating systems are available.

Process Bath Heaters

Water, Water-Glycol, and Salt Bath heaters are a simple and effective method to safely heat various process mediums. These heaters indirectly heat liquids and gases as the medium passes through process coils that are submerged into a bath solution for heating.

Direct Fired Heaters

Direct fired heater designs are available in a wide variety of configurations including API 560 compliant, non-API radiant convective, and convection only style.

Safety Instrumented Systems, Basic Process Control Systems, Burner Management and Combustion Control, Electrical and Functional Safety Engineering and Design, Upgrades/Modifications and Training.

Industrial Waste Heat Recovery Systems

Waste Heat Recovery Units (WHRUs) recover the thermal energy from the hot exhaust and gases discharged by industrial equipment such as incinerators and turbines. This energy is then repurposed to heat other media and materials, including asphalt and oil. WHRUs are available in various designs and styles. By capturing heat that would otherwise go to waste, WHRUs allow facilities to use that energy for other applications, making them a valuable addition to various industries. They can greatly improve the overall efficiency of industrial plants.

High-Pressure Steam Generators

Typically used in the process of edible oil deodorization, this closed-looped (hermetically sealed) system produces steam for high-temperature applications. This steam generator is able to produce non-toxic process heat while offering the same advantages of a conventional hot oil system.
